Funders

Creativity in the Classroom has been supported through a number of funding sources since 1997. At its inception the funding came through the Canal Communities Partnership

Each school gives 3000euro from their DEIS grant to support the project each year

In addition, most recently the project is supported through local authority and philanthropic organisation’s namely Dublin City Council, The O Brien Trust and The Cork St Fund.

We are currently supported by Dublin City Council, Arts Office through its Neighbour Hood Grant Awards.

The project costs €34, 500 to run per year which amounts to €40 per child to ensure that children who may not have the opportunity to participate in the arts and cultural life of their city have the opportunity to experience high quality and meaningful arts experience in their schools.
